Construction is not only Britain ’s biggest industry; it is also one of the most dangerous. In the last 25 years, 2800 people have been killed on construction sites or as a result of construction activities. At Grant Construction we recognise and accept our responsibility to carry out our undertakings in such a way as to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all of our employees and of any other persons who may be affected by our operations. It is for this reason that at Grant Construction health and safety is of paramount importance.

The policy is central to each and every member of staff’s employment and extensive safety training is provided for all staff and operatives. In order to ensure we maintain the highest levels of safety our safety procedures not only cover our direct employees, but also any other contractors or personnel who are on a Grant Construction site.
